OFF! Hey everyone! Guess what?! I FINALLY got a whole day off! Thats right.. the whole day! I couldn’t believe it. It was so nice.. I got to sleep in, and then I got up and made myself and my Daddy breakfast! (well, it was like 10 but it was breakfast for us!)

Then I went outside and it was so warm and sunny, I thought it would be so awesome to go to the beach! So me, my parents, Brandi, Justin and Noah all went to our friends’ house in Malibu, it was great. We had a blast just being in the sun and hanging out. And to top the night off, I just got back from PINZ where i went bowling with the whole family!

We never do things like that, so it was something special for us to do something normal together. Daddy beat me, and so did Brandi! But it was still fun.. at least I beat Noah =) Last thing, I wanna give you guys the scoop on whats going on next week! I am going on my very first radio tour! I’m so stoked, were..

..hitting San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago.. and a few other places. Its gonna be busy but exciting. Just me and my two guitar players Stacy and Jamie. Listen
for us! Meanwhile my Dad and Brandi are going to Nashville to do radio there promoting my Dad’s new record BACK TO TENNESSEE! He’s really excited about these new songs, some of which are in Hannah Montana movie!

Miley joins the growing list of celebrities, like new pal Demi Lovato, who were bullied during her school days back in Tennessee.

The 16-year-old Hannah Montana starlet let Access Hollywood have a sneak peek of her new book, “Miles To Go,” and revealed her painful past of being bullied. She shared, “The girls took it beyond normal bullying. These were big, tough girls. I was scrawny and short. They were fully capable of doing me bodily harm. They shoved me in. I was trapped. I banged on the door until my fists hurt. Nobody came. I spent what felt like an hour in there, waiting for someone to rescue me, wondering how my life had gotten so messed up.”

Miley continued, “It seemed like ‘Operation Make Miley Miserable’ was escalating to a new level. More like ‘Operation Take Miley Down’. Three girls strutted up and stood towering over me. My stomach churned. I clutched my grilled cheese sandwich like it was the hand of my best friend. It pretty much was my best friend those days. I was done for. They started cussing me and telling me to get up. I sat there, frozen. I didn’t know what to do. Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore. I wasn’t chicken. What could they do to me? I was surrounded by people. I stood up, still a foot shorter then they were, and said, ‘What’s your problem? What did I ever do to you?’”

“Miles to Go” is out in stores now. Miley will be having a book signing this Saturday, March 7 at Barnes and Noble at The Grove (189 Grove Drive, Los Angeles) at 12 noon.

Radiohead dissed Miley at the 2009 Grammy Awards. On Johnjay and Rich, Miley revealed that she idolizes Radiohead more than any other band, but was shocked when the band refused to meet her backstage at the Grammys.

Miley said that Thom Yorke and the rest of Radiohead would not come meet her or let her into their dressing room, even though she was only four rooms away.

‘If someone said that, ‘I would cry if I met them. I really want to meet them,’ I would freaking, like, run and, like, give them the biggest hug in the world because that’s cool, you know? But they were like, ‘We don’t really do that.’

Toluca Lake couple Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston took advantage of the beautiful weather with a neighborhood bicycle ride. Leading the way, frequent cyclist Miley led her boyfriend along the sidewalk as paparazzi hoofed it to catch up with the photogenic twosome.

Sure, we've been through a lot together and, along with my daughter, Kate, you've been there since the beginning. At least since her beginning. For years, you've been our early-morning companion.

Lately, however, I have noticed some troubling signs. "Higglytown Heroes" jumped the shark after apparently exhausting its supply of small-town bus drivers and teachers and moving on to the kinds of careers that hardly seem vital to the town's lifeblood. Choreographers and police artists?

Then we had to deal with the arrival of this new Wiggle, Sam. Have you noticed how child-rearing experts have advised sitting down with your child to talk about Sam as if it required the gravity of saying, for instance, "Now Chip, there's something I need to tell you: Daddy wants you to meet your new Mommy." I mean, he's a Wiggle.

And I really never figured out that show where that guy was living with the puppets in the forest. (True aside: There's a retail establishment near my place that is called, honestly, "Puppet Heaven." Doesn't that sound like the most excruciating store on the planet? After, of course, Anthropologie.)

Anyway, what's really inflamed me is the recent decision by the Disney higher-ups to start showing advertisements for its evening—i.e., non-preschool programs—during the early-morning hours when my daughter is watching as she eats her oatmeal.

What's the problem, you ask? I'll tell you. The other morning, we're watching the Diz—as I like to call it—and there she stood, big as life, rockin' out the show.

Hannah Montana.

What is all right there, Ms. Montana? I ask you.

Miley, however, is inescapable. There she was half-clad in Vanity Fair, a magazine I always thought was reserved for Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett and anyone who has ever hooked up with a Kennedy. There she was as a voice in the animated movie " Bolt," along with John Travolta, who plays her dog. Then it was the Grammys, right after she was caught making fun of Asian kids. You know you've gone global when you start issuing public apologies.

Call me overprotective. I'm still deciding whether I am ever going to tell my daughter about the Internet. And I'm a little bothered, frankly, by Kate's ardent love for Ariel, the Little Mermaid. Why? Because, look, Ariel didn't just exchange her tail for human legs. She also got, well, let's say The Full Monty.

Keep the tail, Ariel. And join a clamshell convent while you're at it.

Speaking of convents, this is why I think I have recently gravitated to a series of books featuring that precious little French girl, Madeline.

Madeline never bops around onstage, never wears fashions that are just a little too mature for her. In fact, to her credit, she always wears a hat. Even indoors. And sleeps in a nightshirt as big as a circus tent. This is what I call a role model. C'est vrai!

Maybe I am overreacting. Maybe Kate can handle the big-girl world. I have been slowly trying to introduce her to more sophisticated fare. We've been watching some of my beloved childhood movies—although that has produced an odd dynamic in terms of her socialization. Things Kate is not scared of: Wicked Witch of the West, Darth Vader. Things Kate is scared of: grapefruit, toothpaste.

So, Disney, consider yourself warned. But even though you are on my list, you are lucky in one respect. It is a pretty long list, so it may take me some time to get to you. (You're No. 36, right after Xtreme trash bags. Why are they extreme? Am I bagging trash at a motocross?)

While I have visions of Kate wearing a hat, living in a convent school and speaking French like sweet Madeline, I know it's not going to happen. Even Kate knows it. She likes to tease me that she can't stay 3 forever.

"I have to turn 4," she says. "I want a princess cake."

Princess cake? I don't like the sound of that.

HM Movie will premiere all over the world

“Hannah” costar Jason Earles told LA.com, “I know they’re planning premieres all over the place — in London, Rome, Paris and L.A.. I’m not sure how many they’ll send the whole cast to, but I know Miley has to do all of them. I think there’s going to be a big media frenzy leading up to it, and it’s testing really, really well — as good as any movie that Walt Disney Pictures has ever had.”
They also caught up with Jason and his cast mates Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso at this week’s Hollywood premiere for the fun, fan-pleasing “Jonas Brothers: the 3D Concert Experience,” which opens today (2/27), speaking of frenzies. Musso and Osment each have their own fledgling musical careers going, and each has an album on the way - his June 2, hers sometime this year.
“I’ve been working on this about a year and a half now so it’s a big long project, but that’s why it’s going to be good , I’m spending a lot of time on it,” she says. “It’s sort of like a different angle of myself, so it’ll be nice to put that side out there. It’s a completely different arena, away from ‘Hannah Montana,’ away from Disney,’ something I’ve always wanted to do.”

I always felt alone. But the night I got the cafeteria threat it seemed like Operation Make Miley Miserable was escalating to a new level. More like Operation Take Miley Down.

I was so scared that I told a friend from cheerleading about it on the phone. Should I skip lunch? ShouId I arm myself with a ketchup bottle and prepare for battle? It was like an afterschool special about the runty girl who gets beat up.

I hated school. I never turned my back to open my locker without being aware of who else was in the hall. I never lingered between classes or after school. Every time I went to the bathroom or walk around the corner, I was on
edge. I didn’t feel safe.‘

Miley Cyrus's boyfriend has admitted that he "looks up" to the teenage singer.

Speaking to VMAN, model Justin Gaston credited the 'Fly On The Wall' star for helping him manage his flourishing career.

"I look up to her," he revealed. "It's nice to have someone there who already knows what's going on. It helps you plan your next steps."

Discussing what he wants in a girlfriend, he replied: "Someone who's really genuine. Someone attractive, but more just really nice."

NASHVILLE (Billboard) - Billy Ray Cyrus is back in Tennessee. Or at least he was.

The Kentucky-born singer and actor, who has been spending much of his time in Los Angeles, where he stars in the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" with his daughter Miley Cyrus, had a busy summer around Nashville last year. Not only did he host NBC's "Nashville Star" talent competition and film (with Miley) the forthcoming "Hannah Montana: The Movie," but he also made a new album, "Back to Tennessee," which will be released March 31 by Lyric Street, the Nashville sister label of Walt Disney Records.

The CD originally was scheduled for fall release, but the new date could turn out to be fortuitous. The Hannah Montana movie hits theaters April 10, and Cyrus' current single and title track, "Back to Tennessee," which is in the movie, is now getting play on country radio. Cyrus co-wrote the I'm-longing-for-home tune with Tamara Dunn and Matthew Wilder.

Cyrus says that "Back to Tennessee" is "the cornerstone" of the Hannah Montana movie, which is about Miley/Hannah's return to her roots, but adds that it also represents his return.

"You are talking to someone who loves the country, who was born and raised in Kentucky," he says.

His last album, "Home at Last," was recorded in Los Angeles. The new set marks a return to Music City. It was produced by Mark Bright, whose credits includes best-selling albums by Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood.

The new set will include a duet with Miley on "Butterfly," a song from the movie. Miley's version will appear on the soundtrack, but the duet will appear only on Cyrus' album. ("Ready, Set, Don't Go" from his last album featured Miley. That song peaked at No. 4 on Hot Country Songs in February 2008 and was his biggest hit in nine years.)

Still a concert draw, Cyrus will be on the road a couple of weeks each month for the rest of the year, playing casinos, clubs, country festivals and Sea World.

Cyrus has heard talk that his career would be over after the phenomenon that was "Achy Breaky Heart," his 1992 No. 1 hit, but he's had the last laugh.

"I never give up," he says. "My dad always said, 'As long as you love what you do for a living, you never have to work another day in your life.' I love making music, and I knew that no matter what happened that until the day I died I would be making music somewhere. I knew I would be setting up my guitar and my microphone somewhere and I would be singing for somebody."

Cyrus' father also advised him to "have a career like Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton."

"I said, 'Dad, what does that mean?' and he said, 'Well, you have to branch out into TV and film,'" Cyrus recalls. "And I hadn't really thought about that. I went to L.A. the next week and they were casting (for the drama series "Doc"), and I went and auditioned and they hired me. And four years later, 88 episodes, I was a full-time actor. And I look back on it now and think, 'Man, I am really glad that my dad said that,' because there is no doubt that I would not be having the career that I am having now if I hadn't branched out."

In the upcoming episode, “Papa’s Got a Brand New Friend,” Hannah (Cyrus) and her dancers are desperate to find a replacement for their usual choreographer, Tina (Inaba), after she injures herself. Hannah and Robby (Billy Ray Cyrus) finally decide to hire the abrasive yet qualified Shawn Nahnah (Philip Anthony Rodriguez). But when the sessions begin, Hannah wants to fire him only to discover that he’s become Robby’s friend.

Miley Cyrus doesn't like to admit it, but she's bothered by people who think there's something wrong with the bond between her and her dad, singer Billy Ray Cyrus. Skip related content

"The media has said some stuff about my dad and me being too close and too cuddly for a father and a daughter," the 16-year-old actress-singer writes in Miles To Go, a new memoir.

"For me and my dad it's not weird at all."

Cyrus's memoir, written with Hilary Liftin, will be published next month by Disney-Hyperion Books.

She doesn't directly mention last year's photo shoot for Vanity Fair, when she is shown reclining against her father, his arm around her shoulder, both of them sombre and bare-armed - an image many found suggestive.

But she does write that she loves her father (who co-stars on her Hannah Montana TV show), isn't afraid to show it, and "we don't let other people tell us what expressions we're supposed to have on our faces when we take a picture together!"

Acknowledging that fame inevitably attracts criticism, she writes of being hurt by comments posted about her on the internet and concludes that some people are "so full of anger, hatred and bitterness".

Referring to the media, she regrets that people make profits off her troubles, and wishes they instead would profit from her "achievements".

Miley Cyrus recently chatted about wanting her boyfriend, Justin Gaston, to get into the music Biz.

“I just got a studio for my birthday,” Miley spills. “And I got him a guitar for Christmas. My goal is to become one of the most-wanted producers of 2010, so we have a whole year to get really good.”

Justin seems a willing recipient, giving Miely high praise when he chatted with press in a new interview for the spring issue of VMAN Magazine.

“I look up to her,” Justin said. “It’s nice to have someone there who already knows what’s going on. It helps you plan your next steps.”

Disney Channel’s “Night of Stars” Shines in the Ratings

Disney Channel’s “Night of Stars” was full of great features for Disney fans.

We saw new music video, new episodes of “Hannah Montana” and “Wizards of Waverly Place” and of course the premiere of the DCOM “Dadnapped”.

“Dadnapped” went head-to-head with Nickelodeon’s original movie “Spectacular”.

Who ended up on top of the ratings chart? Dadnapped! In fact, it out performed Spectacular by double-digit percent margins. Sweet!

At 7 o’clock an all-new “Wizards of Waverly Place” dominated an original “True Jackson, VP” on Nickelodeon, overshadowing delivery by 45% in Total Viewers (4.5 million vs. 3.1 million), by 82% in Kids 6-11 (2.0 million vs. 1.1 million) and by 75% in Tweens 9-14 (1.7 million vs. 972,000).
“Wizards of Waverly Place” delivered Disney Channel’s largest audience in the time period in the net’s history in Total Viewers (4.5 million), Kids 6-11 (2.0 million) and Tweens 9-14 (1.7 million-tied 1/1/07).
At 7:30 p.m., the all-new “Hannah Montana,” guest starring Rob Reiner, surpassed its last original episode by 19% in Total Viewers (4.4 million vs. 3.7 million), by 27% in Kids 6-11 (1.9 million vs. 1.5 million) and by 21% in Tweens 9-14 (1.7 million vs. 1.4 million).
With “Hannah Montana,” Disney Channel registered the largest Total Viewer audience ever in the time period and recorded second-best levels in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, behind only Monday, 10/9/06.
In its debut, Disney Channel’s 74thDisney Channel Original Movie, “Dadnapped” (8:00 - 9:40 p.m.), was particularly dominant against key time period competition, defeating the highly-publicized debut of original movie knock-off “Spectacular!” on Nickelodeon/Nick-at-Nite by a significant 39% in Total Viewers (4.6 million vs. 3.3 million), by 62% in Kids 6-11 (2.1

With rumors flying that young stars like Zac Efron, Miley Cyrus and Robert Pattinson are going to make appearances in one form or another at Sunday's Academy Awards, it seems that producers are attempting to recover from last year's all-time low ratings, perhaps with a little stunt casting.

Efron is rumored to be presenting Best Original Song and hitting the stage with his "High School Musical" co-star and real-life girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, E! Online reports. Sources told the site that the Disney stars will join Beyoncé and host Hugh Jackman onstage for a musical number directed by "Australia" helmer Baz Luhrman. "Mamma Mia!" stars Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper are also rumored to be participating in the number if their scheduling conflicts are resolved.

The show's producers have said that for this year's broadcast they want to shake things up, so lining up a roster of young megastars may be just the formula to do that. Rumors began surfacing on Monday that "Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson will present an award. No word yet on what he'll be presenting or if Kristen Stewart will be by his side.

Of course, we can't forget the presence of the teen queen herself, Miley Cyrus. While Hannah Montana isn't yet scheduled to take the stage to perform or present, E! reports that she will be present in support of "Bolt," which is up for Best Animated Feature.

Reps from the Academy Awards had not responded for comment on the rumored lineup by press time.

Dressed casually in sweats, the “Hannah Montana” actress browsed through the facial cleansers and skin creams as paparazzi loomed throughout the store trying to snap up shots of the 16-year-old Disney starlet.

Meanwhile, insiders are telling that Miss Cyrus has plans to attend the Academy Awards taking place in LA this weekend.

Deciding to opt of of presenter duties (she presented an award at last year’s ceremony, Miley is said to be going to support her box-office hit “Bolt”, which is up for Best Animated Feature.
